Mr. Dave Bauer is the counselor is at Alak School to help students become successful in the areas of peer relationships and academics.  The counselor helps teachers, school administrators, and parents in making students happy and vital citizens of their community. The counselor visits each week with grades K-6 elementary classes on topics such as bullying and getting along with other students. Alak School has a strong On the Job Training program, with this year having 15 juniors and seniors involved with work experience at the school and in the community. The counselor presents the program of Healthy Choices to the middle school and high school students.
